Norberto Bonalumi, PhD

Norberto Bonalumi is a chemist with a PhD from ETH Zürich, specializing in organic transformations. With over 12 years of experience, he has held key roles in business development and sales within the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. Currently, he serves as Director of Business Development for Small Molecule Services at Solvias, where he assists a wide range of players in the pharmaceutical sector, from start-ups to big pharma in accelerating small molecules projects.

Achim Link, PhD

Achim began his career in the chemical industry in 2006 as a lab technician for a start-up in Germany. He studied at the University of Freiburg, completed his MSc in stereoselective organocatalysis and his PhD on bifunctional Grignard reagents at the University of Basel. After fellowships at MIT with Prof. Buchwald, he joined Solvias in 2020 as a project leader. By June 2022, he led the catalysis team and joined the BU steering committee. Since February 2024, he has supported Solvias' commercial teams with scientific and technical expertise. Achim also served as lecturer at the University of Basel for over three years, contributing to education and research.
